I'm a craft lover from way back. I love to build, paint, CREATE. I use my photography as a backdrop for Zazzle store products, frequent thrift stores to find cast offs that can be re-purposed into something totally functional once more, peruse craft stores for inspiration.........always in the quest to create my life by design.

As I said, pretty plain!

I got this plain Jane vase when a family member was in the hospital recently (in fact, I got a number of ugly vases from that visit and I'm STILL trying to figure out what to do with them.) This vase, however, got a makeover from an idea I got from a fellow blogger.
As I said, pretty plain!
So, because I like E-A-S-Y, I decided to take this laser-cut thin card stock with words cut into it (found at AC Moore's craft store for $1.00 in the scrapbooking section), wrap it around the vase, seal the loose edges with glue and cut off the excess paper at the top.
Et Voila ! It's a vase.
Or wait.... it's a candle holder !
And there you have it. Versatility for a buck. Can you beat that? Really?
